LIFESTYLES

LIFESTYLES

Hey, I see you’re looking at lifestyles
D’ya know meanwhile you should be looking at what’s yours.

Hands in ya pockets, strolling round turnstiles
D’ya meanwhile you could be looking at what’s yours.

Cause if you, are digging at digging at digging at digging at those little lifestyles, emulating, your missing out on missing out on missing out on missing out on yours aaaaaaaarrrrggghhh!!!!!!

I’m all sixes and sevens about things x 6

You’re all sixes and sevens for lifestyles x 6

NEW BORN CHILD

NEW BORN CHILD

Darkness in the middle of the daytime
Curiosities upon the lay lines
Cavities inside the Brazil mountains
Cubic to the fraction of a hair pin

Its amazing
Its amazing
Its breath taking
Its hell raising
Its amazing
But its no more amazing than a new born child.

Billions of galaxies surround us
Distances apart that just dumbfounds us
Poltergeists and people levitating
U.F.Os and ghosts and astral sailing
Its mind boggling
Its mind boggling
Gets thoughts juggling
Its awe inspiring and amazing
But its no more amazing than a new born child.

Prophecies inside the sixty-six books
Pointing to this inane time we live in
Say the modern globally manifest ones
God will end the trial before the big bombs
Its real worrying
Its real worrying
Its heart breaking
You’re left shaking
Its amazing
But its no more amazing than a new born child.

INCOGNITO

INCOGNITO

I’ve just seen a sordid sight
Been witness to a crime
I am incognito now
I have been for some time.

Ever heard a picture?
Ever seen a sound?
Ever sussed a decoy?
There’s one now in the crowd.

CHARMING I'M SURE

CHARMING I’M SURE

Charming I’m sure
The get up and go
Of all the lads and lasses
Who so long ago
Sculpted the walls
And lit up the streets for the masses
Home is home is home is home
Its ornamental side’s its asset

They must of thought
That we’d be good
To everything they understood
The real McCoy ingredients
Were thought of as comedians

Charming I’m sure (They must have thought)
The get up and go (That we’d be good)
Of all the lads and lasses (To everything they understood)
Who so long ago(The real McCoy)
Sculpted the walls (ingredients)
And lit up the streets for the masses (Were thought of as comedians)

Home is home is home is homer-ty home homes!
Its ornamental side’s on acid.

CROOKSHANK

CROOKSHANK

You could do worse than go back to your routes
Back to the glades though back to the house and river
We had linked arms for a walk in the woods
Hansel and Gretel and Goldilocks saw it was good.

Now where was I? Now where was I?
Now where was I? Ah that’s right!
You don’t know me from Zeus
You’ve observed I’m obtuse
If you don’t like the vibe
Load the ‘Sit Up And Beg’ up and drive!

Ultimate virginal primary start
You watched your slate decay
I felt that tare out your heart.

Now where was I? Now where was I?
Now where was I? Ah that’s right
We were up in the Gods
It was ‘ Richard The Third’
Whilst indulged in applause
Our eyes met, you admired . I adored!

SMILES ARE MORE

SMILES ARE MORE

Smiles are more x 8

I aint running any more
Gonna face it and what’s more
Instead of trying the technique of white lying
I’ll put my thoughts into before.

I aint chicken any more
I aint fighting any bores
Aint getting stressed
Just counting where I’m blessed
And highlighting my time off with my chores.

Before the world we mean so many things
With hope all faint and thinning when you’re hurting
Think of today, lap up its every stage
And never think about its closing curtain.

I aint worried any more
I aint nervous anymore
I’m through with wasting
The times I should be tasting
And setting sale to taste new foreign shores.

smiles are more x 8

BLACK CAT DREAM

BLACK CAT DREAM

Last night I dreamt a black cat told me that a man just ate a baby
I rang the cannibal department as a passer by confirmed it

Everyone was interrupting me it was a bad line
All at once it gave me a bad time.

If I had a wish I’d wish I had a million wishes
Its malicious and its greedy but its true.
If I had the money I would buy The Royal Mint
And only spend a plug Nichol on you!

( Spoken)
Never could work out the logic of dreams

As I was sleeping I was conscious of my numbness hypochondria
Like when your counting all those stressed times in your head when someone’s conned ya!

I had to tell myself it wasn’t true its paranoia

(Spoken) Oh well I’m a poet not a lawyer!

If I had a wish I’d wish I had a million wishes
Its malicious and its greedy but its true.
If I had the money I would buy The Royal Mint
And only spend a plug Nichol on you!

(Spoken) Always did like the idea of The Philippines

Role me x 15 into frenzy.

show me x 15 to the Norse Gods.

I think the fact that they are still developing Star Wars is naughty!
Oh first the fist and then the stone and then the bow and arrow story.
You only need to count to ten to tell what’s brewing.

(Spoken) This is the very fact on which they’re chewing!

BED OF LIES

BED OF LIES

The journey for the soul goes back and forth (And back and forth)
Which in the main leaves man obliged and ……dwarfed
He’s kind
Often he’s kind
But he sees very little and he lies… in his bed of…. lies

The journey for the soul goes to and fro (And round and round you know)
Which in the main keeps man far from the….. know
He shines
Quite often he shines
But he believes very little and falls ill… In his bed of…. lies
Heartbeat x 4

OH THE TICKET!

OH THE TICKET!

Hey look there goes a traveller
A silent observer
He has one destination
Me, I won’t try his patients
He’s home and dry
He’s home and dry

If where there’s smoke there’s fire
Then where there’s hope there’s glory
If where there’s hints there’s learning
I need not tell the story
Of home and dry
He’s home and dry.

THE PACE THAT KILLS

THE PACE THAT KILLS

Thought I should a sporting chance
That’s what you call naïve
I thought they’d pay me in advance
That’s what you call naïve but

That type they’ll opt out on a lot of deals for love
Come a long long way for love
That’s right they’ll sit out on a lot of deals for love
Come a long long way for love

He’s Joe cool he’s Jack the lad
He’s the big I am.
Hobbies include acting crude
And getting out his pram, cause

That type they’ll back out of a lot of deals for love
Come a long long way for love.
That’s right they’ll pass up on a lot of deals for love
Come a long long way for love.

As these words enter your ears
Somewhere water’s flowing
Me I have nowt to add to that
But it had you going

That’s why they sit out on a lot of deals for love
Come a long long way for love
That’s right they’ll sit out on a lot of deals for love
Come a long long way for love.

SEE YOURSELF IN JILLY

SEE YOURSELF IN JILLY

Jilly lit a cigarette
Sat outside in the parlour
She never had the answers
But then she never asked the questions.

She feels no anguish in her heart
She’s never wondered why so far
Can you see yourself in Jilly yet?

Jilly packed away some clothes
Into a dark red hold-all
Walked out into the street
And took off in Papa’s Jensen

She feels no anguish in her heart
She’s never wondered why so far
Can you see yourself in Jilly yet?

MORE IMPORTANT THINGS

MORE IMPORTANT THINGS

When I get my breakfast right
I pour some cornflakes in a bowl
I get some bacon and some eggs
And put some toast on the grill.

My boyfriend lays the table out
I ask him hat he wants to drink
He usually has some lemonade
We buy from the off licence.

Sometimes if I fancy it
I dip my buppy in my yoke
The tomatoes may be tinned or fresh
I do the washing up
He does the drying up
Sometimes we look at the designs on the plates!

Are there more important things on the planet earth?
Are ther more important things on the planet earth?
We’ve a hunch there may be something in this
We’ve a hunch there may be something.
